Slide Six:

This slide shows the dosing regimens that were used in the inpatient phase of the study. The study was conducted in a double-blind fashion so that patients assigned to dalteparin received placebo warfarin pills and patients assigned to warfarin received placebo dalteparin injections. Approximately 500 patients entered each treatment arm in the acute phase of the study.
